About Electric Dream

New Zealand has one of the world's cleanest electricity grids and one of its highest petrol prices. The case for going electric — for cars, bikes, home — is already strong. What's been missing is somewhere built specifically for the people doing it: a marketplace that knows the difference between battery health, real range, and a polished sales pitch.

Electric Dream is that marketplace. Buyers can browse listings without signing in, message sellers in-app, and rate the people they trade with. Sellers post once, get found, and keep their reputation across every listing.

• Browsing should be free and anonymous. No paywalls between you and a listing.
• Reputation should travel. Every transaction adds to both parties' rating; trust is built from real trades, not blue-tick theatre.
• Dealers and individuals coexist. Both can list. Verified dealers earn an unmistakable badge; private sellers stand on their own reputation.
• Specs over slogans. Battery, range, kWh/100km, and real-world running cost — surfaced where they help.

We're starting with EVs and e-bikes — the categories with the most mature secondhand market in NZ. The roadmap widens to home batteries, EV chargers, solar setups, and the rest of the electric ecosystem.
